In many ways The 33 is a more powerful true story than IMAX seat gripper Everest. If the humanity and emotion gets somewhat lost in Baltasar Kormákur brilliant technical filmmaking on Everest, director Patricia Riggen understands that getting to know the 33 trapped Chilean miners is the entire story here.
